Certified Peer Supporter

Accepting New Connections

Hello, my goal was to provide all meetings for free, but due to Hey Peers' policy, I can only offer 2 a month, so every other week will have a fee. This is not me; it's Hey Peers restricting independent Peer Supporters. Hello and welcome to all newcomers and long-time members. It's great to have everyone here as we come together to support each other in our recovery journey. Let's continue to share our experiences and encourage one another along the way.

My Recovery Story

After years of battling addiction and mental health issues, I was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, which marked the beginning of my genuine path to recovery. While working as a tech at a treatment center, I discovered Peer Support and felt compelled to become a Peer Support Specialist. Following five years at the treatment center, I underwent Peer Support Training and secured a position at Safe Harbor, where I dedicated another five years. Now, I am embarking on a new phase of my recovery journey by offering Peer Support on Hey Peers.

My Motivation To Help

In my journey of recovery from addiction and mental health challenges, I find motivation in assisting others to transition from darkness to light. Witnessing a Peer navigate self-directed recovery and evolve into their desired self is truly inspiring.
