This is a personalized and individual-based Laughter Yoga session different from what you might experience in the group. The purpose of the individual sessions allows for us to harness the skills and exercises of Laughter Yoga to support you with specific needs with more flexibility than what the group sessions offer. An hour is provided rather than 45-minutes to allow for reflection, more mindfulness, and peer-to-peer interactions. [Currently offering half-off price for those affected by the tragic Texas Flood.]

About The Host
Hi there! It’s so lovely to meet you. My name is Kimberly, but most people call me Kim. I am a mental health advocate, activist, and a Certified Peer and Family Specialist. From as young as I can remember, I knew I wanted to help people. I worked in retail for the better part of my life and loved the connections that I built, but hated the pressure of selling to people. It was when I was diagnosed with my mental health conditions that I knew what I wanted to do. As someone with their own lived experience with mental health challenges and trauma, I have sought to connect with others, deepening my empathy and compassion for those who feel like they don’t fit in with society. I am deeply invested in engaging in the fight against stigma and shame, and believe healthcare and social support should be accessible to everyone, no matter where they come from. In addition to my work as a peer specialist, I am also a Certified QPR Suicide Prevention Instructor, a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader, and an Intentional Peer Support trainer. I am also very passionate about social causes and justice, human rights, and equity and inclusivity.
