Recovery is not about changing people but supporting people where they are at. Recovery is a safe place where we learn to trust and not be judged. Having a positive attitude is contagious and that is what recovery is all about being a place where people can find peace and joy.

My Recovery Story

Recovery has been wonderful for me to find myself and learn to love myself in ways I never imagined. My oldest grandson is 18 and I have been in recovery for 18 years so my grandchildren never knew me when I was in addiction and I am thankful for that. My family is important to me in ways I never thought it would be since my divorce. I had given up hope and now my life is peaceful and joyful and I know things will always work out as long as I have my higher power with me.

My Motivation To Help

Right from the start of recovery I knew it was my calling to be their for others who find themselves in recovery and are hopeless. When you enjoy going to work is motivation enough to keep on showing up.
