The Maryland Peer Advisory Council (MPAC) is peer-led advocacy, outreach & training program for individuals, families, allies, faith-based community members, and supporters who advocate on local, state, and national levels to address & influence social change to include actionable efforts for recovery.
MPAC Advocacy & Leadership Program
In addition to the council, MPAC Advocacy & Leadership Program provides a cohesive peer recovery support training program for individuals who are interested in advocacy, community organizing, leadership, and peer recovery coaching support, wellness, education, and training. Participants engage in cohort-style learning and receive training, supervision, navigation & technical support toward Maryland Certified Peer Recovery Specialist Certification.
