About the host
Hello, my name is Jessica. I have been facilitating groups with Project return peer support network for about 3 years now. To be able to hold space for others in need is my passion. No one should have to face trying times alone, from personal experiences I know that together we can heal.

It doesn't feel good to see someone fall asleep on camera while someone shares a highly emotional story. I would hope that they'd at least turn the camera off, or leave the meeting if they're tired in the future. Besides, Jess has been doing just fine holding down Invisible Victim without needing a co-host; especially if they're not paying attention to the participant's as they share such heartfelt experiences. It's a really bad look, and it didn't make me feel comfortable telling my story; even to show support to the women that may have needed support

Jess is an amazing support group leader who's always been incredibly encouraging and inspirational for me personally. I hate to hear anything about them struggling, or being in pain of any kind, because they deserve so much more than that

People showing up who aren’t “directly” impacted by abuse shouldn’t register for Invisible Victims! This meeting shouldn’t be used as a hang out, social hour or personal therapy hour, because it takes time away from real-life victims of abuse who might be in very real danger and need this hour for support and that should be respected by all!

This was my first time and the most I did was listen until it was my turn to talk .. it was a little less structured than I thought it would be . However it's good to know you can resonate with someone's similar situation .. would like to come back more to get a better perspective on if I can get help here

Jess is an amazing group leader! I'm so grateful to have her as the facilitator of these meetings, because there's no better person that I trust to lead me towards healing with both grief and the abuse that I've endured. You are so loved for being the compassionate, and supportive person that you are<3

Project Return Peer Support Network

PRPSN offers peer-to-peer support to help individuals reach their personal goals, such as living independently, going to school, getting a job, having friends and enjoying life in the community, and advancing in their recovery. Each group is individualized and self-directed. Activities and curricula are created by the facilitators and group participants. While some groups direct conversations on specific recovery-based discussions, others focus on physical wellness and its connection to mental wellness, building socialization skills, and the exploration of varying coping methods ranging from arts and music to writing and much, much more!
